Moon Cycle X Ruffles

Last summer, I went on vacation in Honolulu so I needed a new swimsuit. I peaked in the local shop, Field Day, and found a super cute two-piece, but wasn’t sure if it was going to fit and cover everything I wanted it to. I tried it on, it fit, and I loved how comfortable I was in it.

The swimsuit by Serpent & Bow is part of the Moon Cycle Collection. The matching bottoms (not pictured) are high-waisted and the top comes down just enough to only have a little bit of midsection peek through, just the way I like it.

My denim ruffle jumper is from ASOS. It was midi-length when I bought it and I had no intention on keeping it that way. It was a little too “little house on the prairie” for my taste so I chopped off the length and made it above the knee, so I can also wear over-the-knee socks with it . I’m quite short and the midi length just wasn’t flattering.

It just so happened that while I was in Honolulu, there was a blue moon – how perfect.

My accessories include Kork-Ease platform sandals, a vintage woven clutch with wooden detail, tribal cut-out bangles, and midi rings by April May Jewelry.
