I get really excited when I discover a new line that offers plus sizes. I stumbled upon boohoo and thought their plus size line was pretty cool. Cute patterns and flattering designs at a reasonable price. I found that the sizing runs a bit large for a few of the things that I purchased but nothing I couldn’t fix.
I purchased the Edie cap sleeve swing dress for a number of reasons: 1) I love cap sleeves, 2) the pattern is really cute, and 3) it’s pretty seasonless (you can wear it year round).
I paired it with navy fringe booties and a black leather moto jacket from asos. I normally like to pair blue with brown or tan, but since the dress has black on it, I thought it was most appropriate to have black accessories.
As you can probably tell, I love details – the fringe on my booties, the stitching on my jacket, the pleats on my clutch, and the small details on my earrings.
All of my jewelry was handmade in Oakland by The Contradiction and include earrings, a square oxidized ring, and a wrap bracelet. I’m carrying a bracelet clutch I picked up years ago from Aldo.On my lips, I’m wearing the oh so minty ProFixx Lip Pigment in London Honey to balance my semi-smokey eyes. ProFixx Lip Pigment is vegan, cruelty-free, and long lasting.
