Day to Night, Part III

I’ve always had a thing for multi-finger rings. Perhaps it’s my love for golden era hip hop, where I first saw Big Daddy Kane’s giant 4-finger rings. I was excited to see that multi-finger rings became popular again in the past years. Some can be huge and  have words on them, some can be a little more simplistic.

In this final part of my 3-part post on my favorite day to night accessories by April May Jewelry, I am wearing the BORDA ring. (See Part I here and Part II here). This brass double ring is one of her minimal pieces, which I absolutely love.  Because of how minimal the design is, I can pair it with statement pieces to balance an outfit out.

April May JewelryFor my daytime look, I’m wearing a really simple black cotton H&M maxi dress and added a beaded necklace from the Philippines (as my statement piece), a green Steve Madden purse, and gold sandals. I kept everything pretty solid in color and let my colorful statement necklace do all the talking.

For my nighttime look, I kept the black maxi dress and double ring on and only switched out my accessories. I put on a gold triangle body chain, Steve Madden 70s gold heels, a vintage 70s clutch, and a brass cuff bracelet.

Don’t forget your lipstick!
