In a previous post, I mentioned a thrift store session with my girlfriend and how the size on the tag doesn’t always matter. In this same thrift store session, I picked up the only pair of denim overalls. The tag read size medium. I didn’t care, I was going to try it on anyway. Previous attempts at finding denim overalls all failed – they were way too baggy for my liking. I put these Old Navy medium overalls on, called my girlfriend in for her 2 cents, she approved and added, “do they have more?”. Sorry boo!
I paired the overalls with a striped tank that used to be an H&M maxi dress, Korks Jaclyn wedges in tan (the most comfortable wedges I own), Alternative Apparel suede fringe purse, and a chevron cuff.
The best part about this is is that I bought these overalls for $14.95. The failed attempts were way more expensive since it’s trending again. I’m so happy I didn’t settle on a more expensive pair that didn’t fit the way I wanted and would have probably needed to tailor it, adding more effort to an effortless look!
