I Heart Rompers

Since Valentine’s Day is around the corner, I thought I’d post something cute. I never need it to be a holiday to wear heart print as it’s a year-round thing for me. Nor do I need a holiday to celebrate love. But since Spring is also not too far ahead and it was about 75 degrees during this shoot, I thought this outfit would be perfect. Whether you’re boo’d up or loving the single life, Valentine’s Day can be a really fun holiday.

I’m obsessed with one-pieces so I was extremely excited to see a romper in heart print from Asos. I have to say that Asos is one of my favorite online shops as they have great customer service (free returns/exchanges) and if you spend enough, you get free shipping. Aside from the customer service experience, I find that their brand of clothes fit me true to size so it’s rare that I have to return anything. They also have a Curve line for plus sizes, which I’m always very glad to see in a brand.

I paired the burgundy romper with a cropped denim jacket from the Gap that I studded and spiked myself. Hell yeah for DIY! Burgundy and olive green are a favorite color combo so it was a no-brainer to slip these Jeffrey Campbell Foxy platforms on. And since suede and fringe are on the forecast for Spring fashion, I chose to use my Alternative Apparel fringe purse.

On my wrist, I’m wearing a 3D metal square bangle. On my fingers, I’m wearing a two-tone faux stacked ring by Lia Sophia, and two other dainty stacker rings from Field Day in Oakland.

Celebrate love everyday!
