Over the summer, I had a chance to finally stop in to a cute little vintage store that I heard about at a networking event called Halmoni Vintage in Oakland. I love vintage stores but what brought me into this one was the cutest owner, Natasha. I started following the shop on Instagram after hearing about it and saw just how cute and awesome she was! I had an amazing time shopping and chatting with her and picked up a few pieces. Support your local shops and artists!
One of the pieces I found was an icy blue 80s raincoat, which brought back memories as I had a very similar raincoat as a kid. The details on the chest and shoulders caught my eye immediately. It’s all about the details.
It poured once last week and I was quick to bring out my new (to me) raincoat. I paired it with a cream dress from H&M, the Fancy heel in whiskey by Miz Mooz from Sole Space, anklet heart foot wraps from Sock Dreams, 3-finger pyramid ring, burgundy eel skin shoulder bag I picked up at Oakland First Fridays, and gold bracelet I picked up at Arts District Flea in LA. On my lips, I used OCC Lip Tar / Matte in Black Dahlia over MAC lip pencil in Beet. Burgundy and light blue are one of my favorite color combinations for autumn.
